Hip to be Square 33% of the time?
Hate to be a nitpicker, but only three of those images are truly square.
all of these photographers shoot square almost exclusively. if a crop is off by a few pixels, it really doesn't change the constraints of the format.
I thought these were about square elements in the images. The first few have them.
The Toni Frissell image is wonderful.
