I feel like I need to do a little repentance for whining the other day about the glut of coverage on polaroid's demise. I love you, polaroid. This is my apology to you, via a master of the medium, Franck Juery. I found Franck through plrds.com, which I discovered years ago and still explore from time to time. They have a great collection of found and original polaroid collections. Almost good on a shorpy.com level. Almost.
In any case, Juery has some great work. Babelfish helped me find out about him (I had to choose between French and Spanish in High School, and I had a crush on Ignacio):
"I work as an independent photographer mainly for the edition (adult literature and youth), the communication of company and the press. I start to expose my personal research through many Web sites and festivals Techniquement, I exploit varied médiums (numerical, silver films, instantaneous films) which I try as well as possible to adapt according to the selected subjects. I currently continue series on the thêmes of town planning, the French littoral and manner plus intimist, on setting in oneiric scenes."
I left in the spelling mistakes bc of the charm. As these are so charming as well:

These are, indeed, some delicious Polaroids.
Surely the "numerical" in ". . .numerical, silver films, instantaneous films. . ." should be "digital."
As always the mechanical translations is pretty amusing.
