I’m clearly a Kent Rogowski convert, and am also a fan of the great Jen Bekman, so I’ll be at the gallery tonight for their synergy/opening of Love/Love, a new Rogowski series. From the press release:
“Love = Love is a series of puzzle montages. Flowers and skies
were taken out of over 40 puzzles and combined to form a series of
spectacular landscapes. Although puzzle pieces are unique and can only
fit into one place within a puzzle they are interchangeable within a
brand.”

Kent Rogowski seems like a romantic guy. I always liked his series of fantasy-novel covers entitled Promise Me Forever, which are the first images of his I saw. The first cut is the deepest, my friend.
Vacuums and pumpkins and carnival horses? Sold.
