Mark Tucker wrote to tell me that the 2008 Review Santa Fe photographers have been announced, and I’ve been caught in this amazing trove ever since. Tucker likes Watanabe and Toledano, as do I; I’d heard about the new Phone Sex Operators work that Toledano is showing here– he already has a book deal. Also check out Jason Demarte’s Utopic. Great fun!

I went to Toledano’s site to see what else he’s been up to, and my jaw hit the floor. He’s made a series called “airshow”, which is something I’ve been meaning to photograph, in addition to burning flowers. Here’s another one, folks: “horse show”. Go to it. In any case, these images slay me.
