I was pleased as punch to see Felix R. Cid‘s name on the roster of projects chosen by Santa Fe Review 2008. Felix was one of the students at ICP when I was a glorified guidance counselor there, and the dude was certifiably insane in really the most endearing way.  I mean, just look at him!

Cid’s project Versiculo, or Verse in english, uses constructed narratives to “reveal a certain part of his personal life, while simultaneously offering a glimpse of contemporary Spanish society.”

I think these are pretty intriguing vignettes, take a look. And he still has a nice hint of the crazy; it’s good to pile your naked friends on the *road.
