I've been following the news of the ongoing Bill Henson child porn art investigation with chagrin, and i haven't known how or whether to cover it; I'm more of a muser than a newser. But I received an email from an arty Aussie this morning that said:

"Have you heard about the controversy here in Australia about the work of one of our most amazing photographers, Bill Henson? It's becoming a massive national story and has polarized national opinion."

That made me feel like I should weigh in, especially because my Henson Opera post weeks ago was a fan-favorite. So I took a look at some of the new Henson work; it's a shame that the controversy is obscuring some of these simple, beautiful new images. Those faces! He's just so good.
