(Février!) Paris Vogue and the Celebrity Look-Alike

I picked up a copy of Paris Vogue in the Bologna airport on my way home Friday, and I was amused to see two fashion stories that were obviously celebrity-inspired. Tragic celebrities, no less.

Unfortunately, I took a look at the date on the magazine this morning and realized it's the February issue. No wonder there were no gladiator sandals in there. Thanks, Bologna. That's 4.90 euros I'll never get back. In any case, I'm blogging about this anyway. It's so old it's new.

This one's entitled L'Idole, and is shot by Peter Lindbergh. That beehive just keeps on giving, eh?

What is it with Europeans and the photo look-alike obsession?

Here we go again, in the same issue, with what I can only assume is an Anna Nicole nod. Um, a few years too late. Unless that's supposed to be Hef. But there's only one girl, so I'm going with AN.

Who shot it? Mr. Terry Richardson, my friends. Some of these look lit. Did he put down his snappy cam?

shiver.

Do you want to channel a celebrity for a famous photographer? Do you look like Gordon Brown?  Alison Jackson wants to meet you. Desperately.

You could be immortalized, a la the fake Diana.

Or George.

Someone once told me I looked like the redhead from X-Files. I doubt Alison cares about that.
