1. It confuses me, to begin with, that Urban Outfitters is a purveyor of cameras
2. It confuses me that the Rolleiflex is miniaturized
3. It confuses me that it is digital
4. It confuses me as to whether it shoots square
Help me, Urban Outfitters:
Now, many of the original's unique features (and all of its charm) can be yours in a retro-miniature package too awesome to believe! A 5 Mega Pixel camera with autofocus technology, the Rollei Mini allows you to shoot from a distance of 4 inches to infinity, saving each image to a Mini SD Card. Still the undisputed choice for portraits, the camera features an up-facing 1.1" square display for waist level shooting, which encourages your subjects to go on looking and acting naturally instead of posing for the camera. Crank lever 'film advance"; JPEG image format; 4.9mm F2.8 Lens; 1/15-1/2500s Shutter Speed; Automatic While Balance and Exposure Control; Auto power-off. Imported. Wipe clean.
Yeah, I don't believe it. Do you?

I wish this came in at least 6MP....
I love it! It looks kind of cute
incredible, considering it's a great classic design from the old days of 2 1/4 negative.
sad, because rolleiflex was always a pro and ahead of their league like leica and hassleblad .
why the amateur market is just amazing ironic.
well, maybe mamiya will bring out an affordable square format or medium sized digital for us
SLR photographers who want a larger size at an affordable cost.
mark this one down as a gimmick.
wow, bizarre...
From the flickr group dedicated to this camera, it appears the quality is in the cell phone camera range, but with a different look. Sort of like a digital holga.
Way cheaper on ebay!
(But of course, UO sells wickedly overpriced holga and lomos too, so no big surprise there)
Urban Outfitters sell the crappiest gadgets ever. I guess this just falls into that category.
I actually just bought the real thing a few weeks ago for about twice the price but 10 times as cool and 1000 times the quality.
