SEPTEMBER 2009 FEATURED PHOTOGRAPHERS

Hey hey! Who wants a look at some wonderful photography? Today we’re delighted to announce September’s PhotoShelter Featured Photographers! Their selection of images will be displayed in the “Images” tab of the product tour.

There’s a distinct international flair among September’s featured photographers. In fact, 12 of the 20 are based outside the US. So, you’ll see images like:

• Rafa Rivas’ (Spain) intense images of unlucky matadors
• Sephi Bergerson’s (India) unique approach to Indian weddings (not to mention a very nice integration of PhotoShelter with his custom WordPress website)
• Carl Pendle’s (UK) high quality collection of lifestyle, food, and travel stock photography
• Dave Walsh’s (Ireland) travels aboard several Greenpeace expeditions

And we were captivated by so much more. Many of these photographers sell their work through PhotoShelter as prints, products, stock photography and personal use licenses. Their websites are great examples of how you can customize PhotoShelter using our templates or your own designs.

Want to submit your images for consideration for the October slideshow? Here’s how. Images must be submitted by the 20th of the month, and winners are posted on the first Tuesday of the following month.

Rafa Rivas

Based in Spain, Rafa works as a stringer photographer for Agence France Presse. Using a PhotoShelter website with our Mars theme, Rafa sells prints and products, commercial and personal use downloads.

Sephi Bergerson

Sephi, an India-based food and lifestyle photographer, integrated his PhotoShelter templates within his custom-designed WordPress website. He sells rights managed stock photos with PhotoShelter.

James Pratt

James Pratt is an Oklahoma-based commercial photographer who specializes in motorcycle, fashion, and portrait photography. He displays his work using our Mars theme, where he also sells prints and rights managed stock photos.

Thomas Lee

Sephi, an India-based food and lifestyle photographer, integrated his PhotoShelter templates within his custom-designed WordPress website. He sells rights managed stock photos with PhotoShelter.

Thomas Arnestad

Based in Norway, Thomas is a professional real estate photographer. Using a PhotoShelter Chill theme, he displays and sells art prints, stock photos and other personal projects.

The Caelum Archive

The Caelum Archive features exclusive collections that include travel, still-life and urban images. Caelum sells press-ready images using our Chill theme.

Dave Walsh

Dave Walsh a photographer, writer and environmental campaigner based in Dublin, Ireland. Since 2004 he has taken part in numerous Greenpeace expeditions as blogger and onboard press officer. Dave sells prints and rights managed downloads using our Caboose theme.

Heath Holden

Based in Tasmania, Australia, Heath Holden specializes in wildlife, travel and sports photography. He showcases his stock collection using a PhotoShelter Crisp theme website, where he sells rights managed downloads.

Petr Hlavacek

Based in New Zealand, Petr specialises in photographing glacier and ice imagery, and the landscapes of the West Coast of the Southern Alps. He displays and sells rights managed stock photos using a PhotoShelter template with custom designs.

Michael Routh

Michael Routh operates Smoke Chaser Photography – his collection of high quality wildfire, landscape, nature and wildlife stock images. He uses our Chill theme for his website, where he sells rights managed downloads.

William Alix

William is a Paris-based freelance photojournalist. He displays his work using our Chill theme, where he also licenses rights managed downloads.

Stephanie Moore

Stephanie Moore is a Los Angeles based music, portrait and documentary photographer. She displays her work and sells rights managed licenses using our Chill theme.

Brian Cleary

Throughout his career, Brian has amassed a large archive of images that includes motorsports, sports, photojournalism, animal and nature. He displays his archive and sells rights managed photography with our Caboose theme.

Juraj Kovacik

Based in Bratislava, Slovakia, Juraj is a freelance landscape and live music photographer. He displays his work using our Chill theme, and sells both prints and rights managed stock photography.

Phillip Colla

California-based Phillip Colla focuses on wild marine mammals, inhabitants of remote eastern Pacific islands, National Parks of the American West and, waves and surfing. He displays his work with our Caboose theme.

Cory Freeman

Cory Freeman of Sierra Impressions specializes in landscape photography of the Eastern Sierra. He displays his work using our Chill theme, where he sells prints and rights managed photography.

Chris Draper

Chris Draper specializes in outdoor photography. He displays his work and sells rights managed downloads using our Induro theme.

Richard Skovby

Based in Aarhus, Denmark, Richard Skovby features a broad range of photos – from portraits to landscape and travel imagery – using our Crisp theme. He sells rights managed and personal use licenses.

Francisco Javier Fernandez Bordonada

Based in Spain, Francisco specializes in rural Lifestyle, landscape, nature, food and gastronomy images. He displays his work using our Induro theme.

Carl Pendle

Based in the UK, Carl Pendle’s specialties include travel, food, lifestyle, portrait and stock photography. He showcases his work using our Crisp theme, where he also sells rights managed stock photos.
