Tilt/Shift images are cool, even if they are a bit trendy (especially when using these lenses with video.) In certain circumstances and situations, the effect can be subtle (like correcting for perspective distortion in architectural photography) or dramatic (by making normal scenes in life look like miniature replicas.)
