Everyone has some kind of image-making device with them these days. Cell phones, point-and-shoot cameras, and digital SLRs are everywhere. So I thought it would be interesting to see if there were any interesting photos of people taking photos – specifically tourists.

From within the PhotoShelter community of photographers, I found many really creative (and some funny) pictures of tourists taking pictures. Here are a few of my favorites…

Mao Zedong and Tourists, Beijing, China by Paul Souders.

Mardi Gras Revelers by Matthew White.

White Beach, Boracay Island, the Philippines by Tim Clayton.

Salar de Uyuni at dusk by Theo Allofs.

Han tourists photographing sunrise by Tanguy Gilson.

Florence And Venice: the toll of the past by Michele Borzoni.

Safari Tourist Caravan by Randy Olson.

I See A Darkness: New York City by Matt Lutton.

Stag deer image at tourist beauty spot by Richard Baker.

Yellowstone National Park by Tim McGuire.
