I often look at these war zones or natural disasters and think of the photographers that send the images back to show us real events. Pure passion and bravery. If your one of those guys or girls then big respect to you!!

Some of you need to chill a bit. This list was based on a very specific measure, that being "... based on the number of unsolved journalist murders.". So it is using an empirical measure that you cannot really complain about, saying that you feel your country is safest/safer etc.

Sure, your personal feelings may be hurt, you may feel insulted, you may feel the need to be nationalistic and protective. But unless you can offer empirical, factual, data to refute the count of "unsolved journalist murders" there is no point complaining about this excellent article.

Any journalist who goes to these well known hot spots of danger deserves all of our respect. Without the evidence they send back all of this activity would go on unreported to the world. Any little normality that exists there would soon disappear entirely.

Let us all hope that by such journalism the world's eyes are forced to remain open, to see what horrendous things happen, and hopefully in time that brings a solution to those places.
