Last week, PhotoShelter marketing man (and awesome music photographer) Chris Owyoung saved the day when Allen couldn’t make it to the NPPA Business Blitz workshop in St. Louis. Chris presented on a topic that us folks here at PhotoShelter are pretty darn geeked up about – SEO.

If you couldn’t make it to his live presentation in St. Louis or if you just said to yourself, “What the heck is SEO?” (we just cringed by the way), then check out the slideshow below for an excellent introduction to and review of SEO for photographers – tips and tricks for getting your website found by Google.

Victoria - Washington Boudoir Photographer 11-29-2011

Hello! My name is Victoria, I am writing a blog on marketing and search engine optimization for my studio out of Washington State. I have put a link on my blog to this page, if you would like to view it, its going to be located in the third paragraph down. I have not published it yet, as I am still writing it, but please be on the lookout for it in the next two weeks. Thank you for the great information!

Thanks for the information. I found it helpful as I try to increase my sites ranking.

I also teach photography at Maranatha Baptist Bible College. The PowerPoint can me some clear insights to share with my students as they create online portfolios and spread their photography wings.
