New Video: FOOD & WINE Discusses Premier Event Photography

Last week we were pleased to host Rory Tischler, Art Director in the marketing department at FOOD & WINE magazine for a live webinar event. Over 2,000 people registered for the webinar, and Rory gave some excellent insight into photographing the magazine’s premier events.

In case you missed it, we’ve just posted a video recording of the webinar. It’s a must-see for any photographer seeking pointers on working top-tier events, plus a little behind-the-scenes look at FOOD & WINE.

About this video:

Rory regularly hires event photographers to shoot the magazine’s many annual festivals and gatherings – including The FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen, the industry’s premier culinary event celebrating its 30th anniversary. Delivering upwards of 12,000 images per event is no joke, so Rory has figured out what kind of photographer it takes to get the job done. After seven years of coordinating events, Rory knows to hire photographers who are self-motivated, independent, and have a go-get-’em attitude. Sound like you?
