First off, thanks for another great article. Things like this make me immensely happy to be a photoshelter client.

But something odd came up when I googled my domain as recommended in the article. The first link was to my index page, which makes sense. But the next 20 or so were some sort of spammy gibberish. Then a few of my pages, then a lot more spammy gibberish. All the spammy gibberish redirected on click to some spammy gibberish site, but was still listed as being part of my domain on the search engine results page. Any thoughts as to what this might be?

Just a curious piece of information on the same subject - checked how many pages google has indexed on "my" photoshelter address ([username].photoshelter.com). Google has substantially more pages indexed than what I have images on Photoshelter. Odd. Can't quite figure out why that would be.

Interesting thoughts. But it's also well known that the reporting from Google is not very reliable. E.g. that the number of backlinks are very inaccurate. I've never understood why they want to have it that way.

It would be interesting if there were a tool that you could subscribe to that would give you this kind of info. Anyone knows if there is one?
