Wow – this is the problem when a member of the “marketing team” writes a “how to” for working photographers.

I think the intent here is okay, but theres some flat out bad advice. Send a “signed print” after your visit? Really? Who are you, Charlie Sheen? Write “winning” on there too.

If you’re work is in need of a “review” you might want to look at educational institutions or people you know. If you’re looking for work – the only “debunking” is that you need to be professional, look nice, be friendly, and have a great portfolio.

Nothing else will land you work.

As any photographer is continually taking photographs and improving,how is he supposed to know if he has enough photos which qualify for the Portfolio?
I have faced this dilemma till now and been putting off making a portfolio in the hunt for more worthy images.
