Hi Lauren, I'm happy to have had a chance to meet you at the Luminance Workshop (I was an early bird at the registration table, of course you remember me out of the hundreds of other photographer clones, I was the one with a back pack.)

I just posted my own brief blog about the workshops, http://blog.brokawphoto.com/blog/2012/09/joe-mcnally-robert-seale-zach-arias-and-brian-smith/. I could have spent a week with each of these guys. I wish I could have gone to all the workshops.

Enjoying the conference immensely. TED Talks for Photographers.

Luminance seems like a fun thing , but is it not a tad ironic that the Luminance "title sponsor" is Shutterstock? The agency has the very business model that has made it so much harder for individual photographers (Photoshelter clients) to get a decent price for their pictures. Granted, Shutterstock is not the only agency dumping prices for volume sales, but they are a major player partly responsible for the declining sales for individual photographers. I find it odd PS teaming up with them.
