Some people say you can catch a glimpse of a person’s lifetime just by looking at them. It’s all in the eyes, the skin, the expression. Well, after sorting through the submissions for Selects #6, for us that’s never been more true.

The thoughtful images that came together for this edition really need no further introduction. They each tell their own story so well, we thought we’d just let them do the talking. Click here to see this week’s edition, and if you’re not signed up for it then opt-in today!

These are both self portraits, the black and white is one is a picture of a nightmare that woke me up at 3 in the morning and instead of trying to go back to sleep I decided to capture it the best way I could right then.
The second is lit from a window in my bathroom that was all frosty from the cold with the morning sunlight shining through. The light was so nice that I grabbed my camera and took a few shots.
