Friday PhotoShelter Finds: Spring Edition

I don’t know about you, but the PhotoShelter crew is excited about Spring, so we’ve decided to share our excitement with you through some of the photographs taken by some of our very talented users.

Welcome, Spring. We’ve missed you.

Tyson V. Rininger has a really nice gallery of aviation images that reminds us of Spring. One of our favorites is an image from the 29th Annual California International Airshow in Salinas.

Poras Chaudhary shot pictures of the Holi celebration, a religious festival that marks the begining of Spring in India. People sing bhajans of Radha and Lord Krishna on this day, amidst a cloud of very bright colors.

Richard Levine shot pictures of eggs standing on end at the precise moment of the Spring equinox at South Street Seaport in New York City.

Rainer Raffalski took pictures of the traditional Renesse Easter Paasduik (Easter dive) in Holland. “Regardless of cool weather and a water temperarure of 9 degrees Celsius, the vacation season was started with the traditional Paasduik on Easter Sunday.”

Spring reminds us of tasty food created on the BBQ. Darren Carroll spent a day in Smitty’s Market, in Lockhart, Texas. A must-visit place for any BBQ freak. Be wrote a blog post about it, which includes the following slideshow.

Looks super yummy. Let’s go!
