Every time I crack the hood of a computer, I am amazed with what I see — a mixture of patterns and colors in a science-meets-art masterpiece. Although seemingly unintentional, printed circuit boards — a computer’s electrical circulatory system — are a work of art themselves. I’ve always thought they would make a great thing to photograph — and it seems that I’m not alone.
I found many cool circuit board photos from the collective archives of PhotoShelter community members. Maybe I’m just a geek, but I could probably stare a circuit board for hours and be entirely entertained. Here are a few of my favorites…
