Marketing Photography to Ad Agencies & Magazines

Marketing Photography to Ad Agencies & Magazines

When we held our first How We Hire Photographers webinar back in April, it turned out to be one of our most popular sessions, ever. We got the lowdown on photographer marketing from from Whitney Lawson, photo editor at Travel + Leisure magazine, and Ashley Macknica, a freelance photo editor for New York Magazine. They each shared candid thoughts on promos they love and hate, how to best capture their attention, what works and what doesn’t.

By popular demand, we want to keep rolling with this How We Hire theme. So, we have two more outstanding guests this Wednesday. We’ll be joined by Kat Dalager, Manager of Print Production at ad agency Campbell Mithun, as well as Erin Fagerland, Special Projects Photo Editor and Assistant Picture Researcher at Martha Stewart Living magazine.

Both Kat and Erin responded to our recent What Buyers Want from Photographers survey. This particular session is intriguing because we’ll get two different views – one from the advertising world, one from the editorial world. Each have unique perspectives and preferences on how photographers can reach them, get hired, and license their photography.

This one should not be missed. Here are the details:
