Size Matters: The PhotoShelter Pro Account Gets Bigger

While you were sleeping, we did something nice to improve the PhotoShelter Pro Account. We upgraded the storage for every Pro Account member to one big terabyte for no additional cost (up from 100 gigabytes). For those bad at math, that’s ten times more online storage for photo hosting. Going forward, all new Pro Accounts will feature 1 terabyte of storage too.

Having the space to host tens of thousands of images online can be pretty useful to pro photographers. That’s a whole lot more searchable content that you can place on your PhotoShelter website, make accessible to clients, and make available for sale. Of course, with a full terabyte, its also a lot easier to back up more of your work and make it available to you, anywhere you are. (Reminder: you can store JPG, TIFF, PSD and RAW files inside your PhotoShelter account too.)

We’re working hard on some exciting innovations that will keep making PhotoShelter websites and tools better. In the meantime, making the Pro Account beefier (at the same price) is a fun way to make PhotoShelter an even more powerful business solution for our top tier of members.

If you haven’t tried PhotoShelter yet, you can take the Pro Account for a spin for $1.

Thanks very much to PhotoShelter for increasing the online storage capacity, at no additional cost, to Pro Account members. Customer service at its best! We really appreciate it! Gunter

Can we expect to see at least a modest uplift to the Standard account storage limit? Transactions on Photoshelter don’t justify adding $20 to our monthly costs, but we’re knocking up against the 35GB now. How can you justify raising the Pro limit but leaving the Standard the same?

I was so curious as to why all of a sudden I went from 100GB of storage to 1,000GB last week. Thought it was a glitch in their system but I didn’t complain and thought I’ll take it as long as I can get it! BUT IT’s REAL!!! AMAZING!
