It was the worst alarm clock in the world.
The first plane sounded like a garbage truck going over a metal plate.
The second plane sounded like a plane ramming a building. So I pulled up the venetian blinds in my bedroom and took a photo of what I saw.
I don’t really care to relive the day. I honestly loathe each September 11th. But I hope that in the second decade, we can find a little more peace around the world and a little less cynicism and hate.
My heart goes out to the families of the fallen. Rest in peace.
