Hmm… in the first shot she looks human and in the second shot like a strange space alien. Gotta love the beauty industry!

Very unrealistic endresult. Cannot understand this, skin has to be unrealistically smooth, rendering the whole image utterly lifeless, perhaps better to make computer animations, than to waste this talent and effort on retouching.

There are some serious problems with this retouch, that were pointed out in the Fstoppers post. These are problems that a experienced professional never would have let go in a published image. Most of the transformation involves frequency separation, which is a basic retouching technique, although to use it successfully requires a very delicate touch. Kristina overused it here. She also lacks an eye for shape, as you can see from the flattened cheeks and fingers. No disrespect to her, but feature her as an expert and teacher is out of her league, by what I can see.
