Freelance action photographer David Bergman has shot everything from Bon Jovi to President Obama, and has 13 Sports Illustrated covers and 10 Super Bowls under his belt.
But his start came a little bit more round about — from music major, to full-time staff photographer at the Miami Herald, to a freelancer in New York City. Not only has he built a long-lasting career, but with each new venture, Bergman has made a point to adapt to new technology and leverage that knowledge to gain access to special events, like the Olympics and Presidential Inaugurations — furthering his career to an even greater extent.
