New Member Shout-Outs: May 7th Edition

With so many talented photographers joining PhotoShelter every day, we’d like to take a moment to highlight and celebrate a few members that caught our eye with a new bi-weekly blog series, New Member Shout-Outs. • Speciality and background: Thomas Grubba is an award winning architectural and interior photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. His clients include architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, luxury real estate professionals and the hospitality industry. With a degree in both commercial and fine art photography (he also has a PhotoShelter website showcasing his fine art, here), his blend of technical expertise and creative vision put the art back into architecture.

• Speciality and background: The Hawaii Media Source Wire is the only wire photo service serving the communities of Hawaii. It’s run by Hawaii Media Source, a news outlet that represents a family of artists working together to cover the wide range of athletic competitions and events that happen around Hawaii on a daily basis. HMS is a homegrown business that supports local athletes and caters to their needs. The goal at HMS is to provide the families of Hawaii’s athletic youth with photography that captures the accomplishments and memories that are created on the fields, turf, courts, and sand of Hawaii.

 

JaLynn Prince

• Speciality and background: JaLynn specializes in Global Humanitarian photography. Her professional background in management, politics, arts, public policy, media and international development has helped develop her eye – most recently her professional skills have been directed toward the establishment and growth of Madison House Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by JaLynn and her husband Dr. Gregory Prince to address the issues of those with autism transitioning from youth to adulthood.

• Speciality and background: Marla is an American photographer with a love for Italian light. She began creating her large library of images from Italy after visiting in 2008 – while there, she discovered the beauty as well as a love for the people and culture. Her goal is to create “images of Italy that reflect the lifestyle and beauty of the Italian people and their communities.”
