We love photography, but we’re also pretty fond of podcasts. And yes, there are a lot of wonderful photo-specific podcasts out there, but they tend to focus on gear, business, or photographer interviews.

It’s been a few years since photographer & photo editor Sarah Jacobs and I took to the airwaves, but over dinner a few months ago, we decided it was time to revitalize the podcast and bring it into the year 2019 with a new show and Instagram TV companion.

Your hosts: PhotoShelter co-founder and chairman Allen Murabayashi and photographer/photo editor Sarah Jacobs.

Vision Slightly Blurred is the result, and we’re really excited about talking about photography and its intersection with culture and technology. We won’t be reviewing the next camera model, but we will discuss how technologies like facial recognition alter our relationship with photos. We won’t tell you how to price your next job, but we will discuss when you might consider taking photos for free. And Beyoncé.

Our official launch is on Monday, March 11, but you can get a little preview above. And don’t forget to subscribe at Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or your favorite podcast provider.
