This week we had the Thanksgiving holiday on the brain—time with family and friends, time away from work and, arguably the most important item, a plate full of delicious food. Naturally, we’re finding ourselves drawn to food-related content more than normal right now, so we’re bringing a special food photography edition of Friday Inspiration to you all.

While looking for recipes and table setting ideas for our own gatherings, we saved these six scroll-stopping savory posts. (One thing seems obvious: we have a real sweet tooth…)

We got back from Madrid last night, I’m sure we will visit this absolutely wonderful city again really soon I was so happy to find a bottle of @avinciswinery white wine in the fridge, it was just perfect for our edible spanish souvenirs jamon, chorizo and queso but I also used the wine to make some candied persimmon which was a delicious topping for this pavlova. Oh, and we bought a today because tomorrow we will restart the Christmas shootings Hope you are having a beautiful Sunday . . . #pancakeplanet #onmytabletoday #foodfluffer #hautescuisines #foodwinewomen #pavlova #darkandmoody #darktablemood #myquietbeauty #iamsomartha #bbcgoodfood #vzcomade #vscofoodie #tv_stilllife #firstweeat #eatcaptureshare #eattheseasons #thebakefeed #styleonmytable #saveurmag #foodphotographers #food52grams #onmyplate #foodinmotion #bonappetitmag

⤵️ No German Christmas market is complete without Glühwein, the hot, spiced mulled wine that warms holiday merrymakers from the inside out. Glühwein ist served in a ceramic mug and you are always paying a deposit (Pfand) for it. You can either keep this cute little mug or return it to get your Pfand back and buy something else, for example, one more glass of Glühwein This week the all Christmas markets are opening the doors for visitors and this means you can enjoy Glühwein Hi lovely people! How’s your weekend going? Mine rather busy, as I have some deadlines coming next week and I’m trying to get everything done by then But that doesn’t mean I cannot treat myself to a cup of thick, pudding-like hot chocolate, you know, that kind of hot chocolate you can eat with a spoon It’s easy to make and ready in 5 minutes, I’ll leave you the recipe below! . Thick hot chocolate: 300ml unsweetened plant milk 1 heaped tbsp raw cacao powder 1 tbsp maple syrup 1 tbsp cornstarch 1/4 cup vegan chocolate chips Add 200ml of plant milk, maple syrup and cacao powder to a small saucepan. Whisk to combine and bring to a simmer, whisking from time to time. Add remaining 100ml of plant milk and cornstarch to a small bowl, whisk until cornstarch is dissolved. Slowly pour cornstarch mixture to the pan with simmering chocolate, whisking constantly. Cook for 30 seconds or until thickens. Remove from heat, mix in chocolate chips and stir until chocolate melts. Pour in a mug, optionally top with coconut cream, chocolate chips and cinnamon and enjoy hot! ☕ . . . . . . #hotchocolate #chocolate #cacao #comfortfood #recipes #easyrecipes #bestofvegan #healthyfoodshare #forksoverknives #vegan #vegetarian #plantbased #whatveganseat #healthylifestyle #healthyfood #healthyfoodies #healthychoices #veganfoodshare #foodblogger #foodpictures #healthysnacks #healthymealideas #desserts #cozy #veganfood #veganrecipes #sweettooth #foodphotography #foodstyling #youarewhatyoueat
