Ah, New York. It smells. It’s crowded, a little grimy and often way too loud. The trains seem to be endlessly delayed these days. Our hot dog water is questionable at best, but it’s home and I’ll be damned if you say anything bad about it. Only we get to do that.

With holiday travel behind me, I have a renewed appreciation for this cramped, foul-smelling, exorbitantly expensive, wonderful place. (It’s worth noting that the incredibly stylish and good looking locals no doubt help with the aforementioned.)

This week I’m paying tribute to all things New York — from expert street photography to moody snowy shots after this past weekend’s dusting. There’s simply no denying how photogenic NYC is.
