    Annie has a thing for the blue of shadows. If you look at her shoot with Alice Waters during her MasterClass series, she and her retoucher spend a lot of time in post bringing that blue of the shadows back into the skin. I don’t happen to like the look either, but it’s definitely one she gravitates toward. Could be she has a particular film stock in mind, or just wants to maintain the integrity of the color of shadows.
