Everyone who has ever tried to contact a photo editor or buyer understands how frustrating the process can be. When these prospective clients are inundated with emails and postcards from photographers, what captures their attention? What do they look for in a website? How do they find new images and photographers?

Our free e-book “What Buyers Want from Photographers” is a compilation of information gleaned from our survey of 500 photo buyers and editors that we created in conjunction with our friends at Agency Access. The 40-page PDF is deigned to help photographers fine tune their marketing efforts and portfolio website with direct guidance from their potential clients, and includes buyers across all fields including advertising, editorial, book publishing and corporate design.

For example, Travel+Leisure’s Whitney Lawson sometimes uses contest winners to find new talent, but not any contests. The ones she prefers are PDN 30, American Photography, Hey Hot Shot, New York Photo Festival, National Portrait Gallery Wessing Portrait Prize (UK), Visa Pour l’Image awards (France), and Surface magazine’s Avant Guardians award.

Stop waiting around, and download your free e-book now!

p.s. We think you’ll like our new e-book design too.
