Shooting pictures when there is very little available light (like at night) is fun, but results (at least for me) are a total crap-shoot. Really long exposures usually require a tripod, a steady hand and lots of patience. I don’t have much patience, so that’s why I really appreciate well-done long-exposure photography.
Here are some that I really like – found within PhotoShelter.
The Night Rider by Gabriel Morosan.
Etherscape by Paolo De Faveri
Light Graffiti in Berlin by João Paglione
Ayers Rock and Star Trails by Paul Souders
Highway Lights from sodapix/F1online
Light Painting by Matt Crawford
Flinders Station by Jérôme Berbigier
